Harold "Rick" S. Costine

I first started singing gospel music in 1993 when I answered an ad for a singer. I felt the Lord was calling me to minister in music even though I had no experience and didn't know the difference between the melody line and any other line. Through the awesome grace of God and a lot of hard work I have been blessed to be a part of several ministries. I have made many life long friends traveling and singing the Gospel. In 1999 I became a charter member of the “Gulf State Quartet” and traveled for 7 years as their baritone singer. I have also been privileged to sing with “The Sonshine Harmony Boys”, “Once Forgiven”, “The Shepherd's Four” as well as my own group, “The Masters Three”. I am excited about this new chapter in my ministry and consider it an honor to be a part of “New Day Music Ministries”.

LIFE ON THE ROAD

Distinctive memory with New Day: Singing at a Jamaican church in Ft. Lauderdale. The concert started at 8:15 and ended at 11:00. The spirit really moved and the alter was full at the end of the service.

What does being a member of New Day means to you: I love being able to travel with a group of people who love the Lord and who care about each other. It means alot to be involved with a ministry who's most important goal is seeing lost people saved and Christians uplifted.

Give a short testimony about salvation: I was raised Baptist and thought I was saved, but never felt different. On October 13th 1987 at the constant urging of my cousin Brenda, I went to church to basically shut her up and had a life changing experience with the Master! Thanks Brenda! Rest in His Arms

Likes about the Road: Meeting new people.

Dislikes about the Road: Late nights and early mornings

Something you don't think people know about you: I’m a great cook! Don’t tell my wife!

Who do you admire: My Mom, Dad and My Wife
